I know it's a lot to ask, at the end of a busy weekend, to pull out the 'ole credit card to help a stranger with a cause within her own community. But I ask you, have you ever felt such sadness for another person's pain and wanted to fix it, but felt helpless? That's how I feel now. Not having much money, time or connections myself, I was compelled to stitch this art by hand and ask generous friends and strangers to sponsor each of the 1,400 stitches as a way to present a collectively and virtually handmade gift, as well as all proceeds, to survivors of domestic violence. I would be honored if you would at least look at my story (link in profile) and maybe perhaps offer a $1 for women and children in need of healing at from domestic violence. Thank you friend for caring. Thank you for listening.
